Sekolah Indonesia Cairo turut berpartisipasi dalam Cairo University Students Festival kegiatan ini merupakankegiatan pertama kali dilaksankan di Cairo University. Sekurang-kurangnya terdapat 11 mahasiswa/i Indonesia yang mengikuti kuliah di perguruan tinggi di Mesir ini. Sebagian besar mahasiswa Indonesia yang kuliah disini merupakan alumni Sekolah Indonesia Cairo, smentara yang lainnya adalah mahasiswa Indonesia yang mendapatkan beasiswa dari Cairo Univerisy.
